Global Grants Scholarship
GLOBAL GRANT SCHOLARSHIP
Global Grant Scholarships are for Master’s or Doctorate candidates enrolled at any foreign university of
one’s choice in a country where there is a qualified Rotary Club.
These scholarships fund graduate-level coursework or research for students who have been accepted
in graduate programs related to the following areas of focus:
The annual scholarship is $30,160.
It is comprised of contributions from Rotary International, District 5300 and from the
Rotary Club of Pasadena.
The Committee will consider the following qualifications for a candidate’s eligibility to receive
the Global grant scholarship:

TIMELINE
October to January: The Pasadena Rotary Grants Scholarship Committee will interview, select and recommend a candidate for further consideration by the District.
February: The District 5300 Global Grant Scholarship Committee will interview the candidate and may recommend the candidate for further consideration by the International Rotary.
May: The Committee will submit the application to Rotary International for final approval.
June: The Scholarship recipient will be selected and notified of the decision.

- A record of success in the academic field or vocation
- Demonstrated commitment to community service
- Well-defined and realistic goals
- Concrete ideas for advocating within their chosen field
- Goals and objectives align with those of Rotary International
